About me
Tomomi was born in a small fishing village in Numazu, near Mount Fuji. She spent her childhood in nature surrounded by orange tree hills and by the sea, as the traditional Japanese song “Child of the Sea” says. She grew up in a large family. Tomomi’s choral studies with her teacher Aoki Shinichiro at the age of eight have given her a lifetime of rich musical experiences; she has not only given recitals but also sung with the Vienna Boys’ Choir, the Prague Boys’ Choir, the Children’s Choir of the Czech Philharmonic Kühn and the Petits Chanteurs de la Croix de Bois.
It was during this period that she discovered the joy of music and the happiness of singing, directing a choir from her school. Under her direction, the choir often won first prize. Music introduced him to cultural diversity.
She went on to study other media, design, drawing and painting at the Bunka Gakuin School of Fine Arts in Ochanomizu, Tokyo.
It was at this time that I met the painter and scenographer Patrick Gerola. With him, we organised numerous cultural exchanges with painters, musicians, dancers and innovative artists, creating PAXO studio Art Production which was born in Rome with the artists Francesco Mancinelli, sculptor, composer, musician and Roberto Meta, painter.
Welcomes H.R.H. Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz and other personalities from the Belgian and international government to her home in Kamakura.
The song “KAMAKURA” is part of the album TOKAI. Released as a video on youtube, this film was directed by the young and talented Belgian filmmaker Nina Degraeve. A performance that captures the imagination with sight and sound.
